Presentation to City Council
Our President, Phil Graham, gave a presentation to the St. Petersburg City Council on January 16, 2020. Phil was joined by many members of our Board of Trustees who came to show support of our organization. Phil spoke about our purpose and Foundation Mission to bring our new Council members up to date, shared some of our recent successes and goals for the upcoming year, and invited everyone to our upcoming Champagne Shuffle Fundraiser on April 5th. The presentation was well-received by Council members who asked some good questions and complimented the work the Foundation has undertaken. Going forward we were invited to make an Annual Presentation before City Council to share the Waterfront Parks Foundation’s progress with both the City and the Community.
Phil was also presented the “Sunshine Ambassador” award for his efforts to support and advocate for the preservation and enhancement of the historic waterfront parks.
